Request a Story

This is how it works:

  • Please check first below if someone else has already suggested the topic that you’d like to request. If so, please vote for that topic. You may also add comments.
  • If you have a new idea, please add a new suggestion by clicking on Add Entry. It will be reviewed by an editor before it goes online.
  • To the right of the title of each request you will see an icon. Hover your mouse over it and you will see the current status.
  • We are grateful for any tips and ideas. We cannot, however, promise that we will be able to implement them. It all depends on feasibility, availability of writers, and, last but not least, on funding.
Instead of requesting a story you can, of course, also offer one.

Please post other questions at our EcoBurma Travel Forum.

Our four general commenting rules apply: Be nice. Keep it clean. Stay on topic. No spam. Thank you!

individual vs. package tourists

?
We are collecting votes.

I have been to Burma (Myanmar) and I often felt uncomfortable to see tourists from package tours. But what is your impression as local person? Did you experience a difference between individual tourists and package tour tourists? Or is it just a stereotype that individual tourists are more considerate?
Could you write a story about that?
Thank you!
